This panel holds the chips corresponding to the DVD portion of the VCR. The three central chips pictured here are manufactured by LSI Logic, STMicroelectronics, and Nanya Technology.
Description
The LSI ZiVa -4.1 chip is a digital video encoder with 3D audio, karaoke functions, and DVD audio. The ST M27C801-120F1 chip is an 8 Mbit EPROM (erasable programmable read-only memory) chip with low power consumption. The Nanya NT5SV4M16DT-7K chip is a 64Mb synchronous DRAM (dynamic random-access memory) with high speed data transfer.

The chip by LSI Logic was manufactured in Taipei, Taiwan, the ST chip in Toa Payoh, Singapore, and the Nanya chip in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
